Frequently Asked Questions

What is your photography style?

My style of photography is very relaxed and natural. I want to capture what's true, not what you think I should see. The best photographs are those you didn't know I captured.

Where are you based?

I am based in the Scottish Borders, but originally from the Midlands. If your dream wedding destination is not near me I am very happy to travel throughout the UK and internationally!

How long do you stay for during the wedding?

My base package price is for all-day coverage, from your early morning bridal preparation right up until you take your first dance as Mr & Mrs!

Is there a limit on the number of photographs and who owns the copyright to them?

I am a photographer who does not like to hold back on the number of images I take. A normal wedding can produce 3000 images, but I only make sure that you get the best of the bunch. I still own the copyright to the images, but if you have a digital download, you may make as many prints as you like. (For commercial use, please contact me direct)

What equipment do you use?

I use a Canon 7D MKII and a range of different lenses.

How do we book you?

First, get in touch via the contact page and give me as much detail as you can about you, the couple, and about your day. After that, we will meet up, either in person or on FaceTime. When you're 100% happy that I'm the photographer for you, I will send an invoice and a contract. Upon receipt of the signed contract and the booking fee, your date is confirmed.

How long do we have to wait for our photographs?

At least 6 weeks after your wedding, you will receive access to your photos in a private online viewing gallery, and the USB with the high-resolution files will follow by post soon after.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, I require a non-refundable deposit of £300 to secure your day and the rest must be paid in full 14 days prior to your big day.
